ZooBC wiki
Welcome to the ZooBC wiki, the open encyclopedia of the ZooBC blockchain. It explains how ZooBC works, from the first idea to the exact rules, and how to use it and build on it. It grows with its community: anyone with a free Sippis account can correct a page, add an example or write a new article.
Where to start
- New to ZooBC? Read what ZooBC is, then Proof of Participation, the consensus that makes ZooBC different.
- Want to hold and send ZBC? See getting a wallet and keeping it safe and accounts and addresses.
- Thinking of running a node? Start with running a node.
- Building something? Read transactions, apps on ZooBC and building an app as one HTML page.
- Looking for a word? The glossary explains the terms used across the wiki.
Test what you know
The ZooBC knowledge quiz has five tracks, each with its own certificate. Every answer comes with an explanation, and the explanations link back to the wiki articles that go deeper.
How to help
- Fix and improve. Every page has an Edit tab. Keep to facts about ZooBC, and describe how it works from version 0.5.8 on.
- Translate. Pages that are not in your language yet show the English text with a Translate this page tab.
- Mind the history. Every change is kept. You can compare versions and undo a change in a page's History.
- Questions and discussion belong on the zoobc.pro forum and in the Telegram group.
